We take platform security seriously. If you discover a bug, exploit or security vulnerability in the AkClip app, the editor workspace or the rendering endpoints, please report it to us immediately and responsibly.

In scope
The web app at akclip.com — every public view, the sign-in / sign-up / password-reset flows, the pricing and checkout UI, the editor workspace and the account ledger — plus the rendering endpoints the app calls (/render, /status, /feedback, /auth/*).
Out of scope
Third-party services (Stripe, Google/YouTube, Resend, Supabase and their dashboards), spam or bulk-mail abuse, denial-of-service and resource exhaustion, social engineering, self-XSS, purely cosmetic issues, and reports without a working proof of concept.
Rules of engagement. Test only with your own accounts and data. If a bug exposes another user's data, stop there: document it, do not download or keep it, and never modify or spend another user's balance. Do not run heavy renders or sustained load to prove an impact, and do not degrade the service for other users.
Safe harbor. Good-faith research that follows this policy and stays within a minimal proof of concept will not be met with legal action from us, and we will not support takedown or law-enforcement action against you for it. This policy does not authorize access to accounts or data other than your own, or any activity that disrupts the service.
How to report. Email security@akclip.com with what you found, reproduction steps and the impact. Include the account email you want the reward credited to. We acknowledge reports within 72 hours and aim to ship fixes for High and Critical issues within 30 days. Do not publicly disclose anything until we have confirmed a fix and agreed a disclosure date with you — at most 90 days from your report unless we agree otherwise.
Eligibility. One reward per issue; the first valid report wins (duplicates may share a reward at our discretion). Rewards require an akclip.com account in good standing and may be reduced or declined for out-of-scope, low-impact or abusive reports. Especially clear, complete reports may earn more than the listed maximum.

Program runs at AkClip's discretion and can be changed or paused; abuse (bought views, recycled watermarks) forfeits the reward.

How do Tokens (TKN) and Euros (€) relate?
1 TKN = €0.10. You pay in €, we credit TKN, and renders deduct TKN. The workspace always shows both.
How long are my clips stored?
Clips are kept until you delete them, so nothing expires while you are away. Billing records are kept separately as required by tax law.
How long does a render take?
Most 15–90 second clips finish in a couple of minutes. You can watch progress live while it runs, and the status page shows how the whole render pipeline is doing right now.
What is the maximum clip length?
A single clip can run up to 10 minutes (600 seconds). The quick presets cover 15–90 seconds, and you can queue several clips from one video with "Clips Count".
Do failed renders cost me tokens?
No. Tokens for a failed render return to your balance automatically, the charge is written back as a credit, and the error bar confirms the refund. If a failure ever leaves your balance short, open a ticket and we make it right.
How do I get a refund?
Checkout requires an EU withdrawal waiver for immediate digital supply. Outside the statutory window, contact support@akclip.com for claims required by consumer law.

Save Your Recovery Codes
These are shown once and are never stored in plain text. Each code works a single time. Without them, losing your phone means losing the account.
Password Reset Link
Emails a reset link to your account address. For security, this always reports the same result whether or not the address exists.
Phone Number
Not setUsed to text you a sign-in code. A number is only usable as a second factor once it is verified — sending a code to an unverified number proves nothing, because whoever set it would already have had the code.
Your Account
Your sign-in email is shown here so you always know which address the account uses. A phone number, once supported, will only be shown when two-factor authentication is on — without it, a stolen password would be enough to change the number and take over any future SMS recovery.
Your data
Download a machine-readable copy of everything stored about this account: profile, token ledger, billing records, render history, scheduled posts, presets and support tickets. Passwords and session tokens are never included, and your clips stay in the library.
Danger Zone
Deleting your account erases your balance, token history and sign-in sessions permanently. This cannot be undone. Billing records are retained where tax law requires. If two-factor is on, the code is mandatory.
